The 3684450 water pump is one component of the 5406043 water pump “Kit”. Usually the entire kit is not required as the housing rarely goes bad. Note that this water pump does require the use of a 3684450 O-Ring that is required to properly seal the water pump and housing and prevent leaking from between the two components.
