The DS-236-4397 standard connecting rod bearing set contains six pairs of bearings and can be used in the following Caterpillar engine models:
- 3056 naturally aspirated or turbocharged with an engine serial number of 7MS2099 and above
- 3056E turbocharged with an engine serial number of CPT844 and above
