This block heater (120 V, 750 W) can be used on:
- Caterpillar 3054 3.99L and 3054B 4.23L engines.
It mounts in the 1-1/4" (1.25") core plug opening on the left side of the engine.
- Caterpillar 3054C engines.
It mounts in the 1-1/4" (1.25") core plug at the right rear of the engine, with element oriented in the 12 O'clock position.
- Detroit Diesel Series 10 4-cylinder phaser engines.
It mounts in the 1-1/4" (1.25") core plug opening on either side of the engine.
- All versions of Detroit Diesel Series 40 engines.
It mounts in the core plug opening on right side of the engine.
- Perkins 3.152, 4.236, 6.354, and 1104 (4-cylinder) C & D engines.
It mounts in the 1-1/4" (1.25") core plug opening on the right side of the engine.
- Perkins 1004 engines.
It mounts in the 1-1/4" (1.25") core plug opening on the left side of the engine.
This block heater mounts directly into the water jacket of the engine, reducing engine wear due to cold starts by up to 50 percent.
It comes with a 2-wire, grounded, 6 feet (1.8m) HPN cord and plug, and ships.
