This block heater (240 V, 1500 W) can be used on Cummins 6-cylinder engines of the H/NT/NH/N family produced between August 1975 and June 1982 (including 743 CID, 855 CID, 927 CID, and N14 ) when the connection is a 1 1/2” rubber hose. The 6-bolt, flat plate design is installed with an elbow that will rotate 360 degrees to connect with any hose or casting.
This block heater mounts directly into the water jacket of the engine, reducing engine wear due to cold starts by up to 50 percent.
It comes with a 2-wire, grounded, 6 feet (1.8m) HPN cord and plug, and ships with a 12-month warranty.
